Elie Saab Brings Intimate Glamour to Spring 2027
For Spring Summer 2027, Elie Saab turns to the intimate side of glamour. Titled À Fleur de Peau, the ready to wear collection takes inspiration from Hollywood icon Jean Harlow, capturing an effortless sensuality that feels both nostalgic and contemporary.
Presented during Paris Fashion Week, the collection moves away from the grandeur often associated with Elie Saab’s eveningwear and embraces a more relaxed expression of elegance. Fluid dresses skim the body, sheer skirts fall in delicate layers, and lace trims and asymmetric hems lend the pieces a beautifully undone quality. An oversized trench, loosely knotted over a flowing midi skirt, captures the collection’s balance between structure and softness.
A Softer Side of Seduction
The palette moves through sage green, powder blue, blush pink, and black lace, creating a romantic mood without feeling overly sweet. Embroidered roses, delicate bralettes, corset details, ruffles, and ribbons bring a lingerie inspired sensibility to the collection, while draped silk and shimmering mesh add movement and texture.
Beauty details further the dreamy atmosphere, with tiny flowers and dewdrop accents placed across models’ faces. The collection also introduces a new eyewear line, highlighted by gold plated butterfly frames that complement its vintage inspired mood.
What makes this season compelling is its approach to femininity. Rather than relying solely on elaborate embellishment, Elie Saab explores the beauty of subtle exposure, fluid movement, and carefully considered details. The result feels intimate yet polished, romantic yet confident.
With À Fleur de Peau, Elie Saab offers a different expression of his signature glamour, one that feels less about dressing for a grand entrance and more about the quiet confidence of being beautifully dressed.
